The D.E.B.U.T Youth Educational Leadership Institute is dedicated to excellence, brilliance and undeniably talented youth in our community.  The D.E.B.U.T Institute is a rite of passage for children between the ages of 10-15 years.  While the program recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each child, the D.E.B.U.T offers our youth opportunities for civic, social, cultural, financial, professional and personal growth.  In addition; the D.E.B.U.T Leadership Institute program focuses on the 6 pillars of good character.

 

Unlike other social clubs for kids in our community, the D.E.B.U.T Leadership Institute program is an educational organization preparing our youth for success.  Graduates of the D.E.B.U.T will display strong leadership skills, good character and decisive decision-making abilities.  Members will also be prepared to take on the challenges  of the real world.   

 

To foster a love of learning in each student while ensuring every graduate leaves the program with tools required to lead a successful and productive life.

 

To celebrate diversity and strive to instill good character, integrity, compassion and confidence in each child.

 

To establish a program in every major city within the United States of America.  To ensure each member attends and graduates from college.

Members will learn to invest in their intellectual capital as well as have the opportunity to build on their leadership, public speaking and project management skills; all areas that are needed in the "real" world.  Good character is embedded in every aspect of the D.E.B.U.T program with special emphasis on respect, fairness, caring and compassion, trustworthiness, responsibility and citizenship.

 

Through project-based learning, the program's students tackle curriculum in ways that are engaging, meaningful, adaptable to a variety of learning styles and fun.
